The true teacher defends his pupils against his own personal influence.  He inspires self-distrust.  He guides their eyes from himself to the spirit that quickens him.  He will have no disciple.

"For as long as space endures
And for as long as living beings remain,
Until then may I too abide
To dispel the misery of the world."

Trust that whatever God needs from you, He will put you in position to provide for Him.
